:Looking at the Sky on Friday #48-Stormy Sky

Photobucket

Looks like the clouds are torn between two weather here! You can see the rays of sun below and the clouds forming a rather gray color which reminds me of a stormy day. This was shot at around 5 in the afternoon when I'm on my way to visiting my kids in their school. Though the clouds are stormy I find the formation rather captivating!

Moving to Another Place

Sometime in our lives there’s an urgent need to transfer or move from one place to another because of some viable reasons. The reasons can be better job opportunities, change of environment and people, wanting to start a new life away from your past or simply wanting to live in a much better place than your current residence. Some also moves out if they were running from the past.

Well there could be dozens of reasons but whatever it is it must be worth it as moving can be a tiring task of planning, sorting things out, packing and sometimes selling out furniture and appliances that may not be of use in our new place. Believe me it’s really hard! It can also give you stress in the process.

Whatever the reason is the only thing that we should bear in mind when we want to relocate is to hire trusted and professional movers like Boston Movers who will relocate your furniture, appliances and other important belongings. With them you’ll have an assurance that they’ll transfer all your important things to your new destination hassle and worry-free with your things safely delivered and transferred. You’ll now enjoy the excitement of transferring to other location, meeting your new neighbors and exploring your new community. You’ll have a nice time moving out.

Looking at Kia Soul

Men love cars and they love it even when they’re small. I can see with my little Josh how much they fancy cars and it starts on playing different kinds of toy cars. This hobby reaches out all people of different status, it doesn’t limit to those who can afford as there are various kinds depending on your specific needs and what you can afford. Of course the average type of people can settle for the not-so expensive ones or the pre-owned vehicles just like us. Anyway if the car’s performance is still good why not? For me a car is not a luxury nowadays but a necessity as well. We use our car in going to church, for family activities and for out-of-town fellowship and because it’s still in the repair process we only hire cabs every time we need one.

For car hobbyist, collectors and those who can afford to have as many cars as they want the scenario is different as they really seek for the best performance in the cars that they search. They drool over expensive and beautiful cars and they always want the latest models for their collection. I know someone who really search the net for something that’s new in the car industries like this one he saw in the Car Connection, the latest car from the makers of Kia, it’s the 2010 kia soul, a five-door stylish urban wagon that speaks a lot of spacious cabin interior and a lot of features for safety. Imagine it has anti-lock brakes which are good for sudden stoppage while driving at high speed, it has stability control and tire pressure monitors. And when you think of sudden accidents the six airbags of Kia Soul will certainly help the driver and passengers. I’m very much concentrated on the safety rather than the looks because safety is first in choosing your car.

When it comes to having comfortable space for your things I’ve noted that it has a two-tier glove box for those who want to put their laptops and some other gadgets, pretty good for loggers like me don’t you think? Kia has really improved their cars now as when I saw its 2010 Soul model I was impressed that they have come with this kind, it’s quite stylish and you’ll like it at first glance. Now I think even the rich would want to have it also, it’s a combination of performance, safety and style.

:Looking at the Sky on Friday #47-Space Shuttle

Photobucket

Here's a glimpse of Enchanted's Space Shuttle which I fancied to take some shots as I find it awesome. Nope I'm not brave enough to ride in that stomach turning shuttle ride I just clicked on my cam on the sky above it! I thought it's a perfect front for my sky watching pics! The clouds here are somewhat greyish - some hints of the coming storm though we only had some slight drizzle on the travel back home. We were so happy that day on my son's educationa tour that we haven't had any idea that the day after will send a big storm that will be added to the history of natural disasters!

Finding Some Affordable Web Hosts

When I started blogging I’m just rounding few sites for my daily visits and it seems like there are just few groups of bloggers then. After more than two years in the blogosphere I find sites and blogs quite a handful. I think media has contributed a lot in spreading the blogging world by featuring some bloggers in their shows. The world that was not entered by the major population suddenly becomes so popular and became user friendly. Everybody wants to learn and I had my share of tutorials along the way. I also influenced some of my friends and relatives.

If blogging seems easy on the surface it also has its hardship as you’ll have to visit other sites on a regular visits, update it often and write post entries that can inspire others depending upon your blog niche. I started out in free hosted journals but when I learned that I can do more with my own domain I immediately bought a domain in my name. It’s a wonderful experience that whenever someone asks you of your domain name you’ll just say your first name with a dotcom and that’s it.

Of course I learned it all through my friend who helped me see some choices of budget web hosting recommended by WebHostingChoice.com, the free research guide online that help new and old bloggers in finding the perfect web hosts for their sites. You just have to browse through their top lists and choose the best for your blog and for your budget.

The Eye Test

This is really nice as I've chosen only what kind of eye I want and presto they have findings that deep down I'm sensitive :-. Partly true only! Here's my test results:

Deep Down You Are Sensitive

You're the type of person who notices everything and forgets nothing. You are very in tune with the world.
You feel deeply, and sometimes the silliest things can effect you. You are easily brought to laughter or tears.

You don't show the world how fragile you are. You instead show people how insightful you can be.
You are good at anticipating what's going to happen in your life. You are often the first one to see what's coming.

Being Happy with What Life Has to Offer

There are many reasons of transferring to another location or area. It could be due to work relocation, better job opportunities, education, beneficial attributes of target area or simply moving out to have a new environment and community. Moving out to another location can be tedious and tiring because of sorting things out and getting moving companies to help you transfer. It will actually take more than one day with all the packing, traveling then unpacking again; it takes much effort and sometimes too much time. Well if you’re transferring to a better and ideal place it’s going to be worth it like finding Direct TV service through mytyoptions.com. Several things are worth exerting your money and time if you’re happy and contented.

People tend to be happy if they have the amenities and conveniences in life which can be changed if you transfer to another community or location far from your previous one. Now finding Direct TV in California is a great thing for my Auntie who always wants everything at her convenience. She always tell my Mom that sometimes happiness is up to you, if you’re going to pursue it or just be contented with what you have. Happiness is a thing that differs to many. It depends on the things you love, level in which you’ll be contented and the people that surround you.

With my Auntie she always wants the best things in life for her and her family and she has work hard for it. She’s really an achiever ever since she’s young and now that she’s permanently residing in California she was so happy with what life has to offer for her. She has a care giving house that helps her relatives in the Philippines get a job and at the same time helps those patients get the best service of loving and attentive Filipino caregivers. She treats her staff as a family and with that she was loved well by all people that surround her.

With some of the little things that makes her happy like communicating with her family here in the Philippines, some leisure days with her friends, vacation in lovely places, having found the right resource for her Directv in California, enjoying some hobbies like cooking and baking in her home and plenty of simple things that put a smile on her face always. She’s a woman who always have practical advices and with a vibrant outlook in life. I love the way she sees life in general.

Secured Investment During Economic Crisis

The economy of this country before the natural disasters that hit Luzon provinces is on the rocky side and after the storm what’s there to expect? Thanks to million donations from other countries but I feel different whenever I hear about asking for donations. Forgive me but I don’t feel comfortable asking money from other countries, makes us so poor. I would feel more comfortable if it’s given without us asking as a form of assistance or aid. It’s just my thoughts anyway, my personal opinion only. When economy is not stable the situation affects many individuals and it covers everything from employment, prices of commodities and many other things that are connected with economic condition.

Now people are looking for secured investments that will appreciate its value as the years go by. Investment can be on house and lot, jewelries, stocks, business or any thing than you can earn money. Investors should carefully study the stocks trading because it also defines the stability of your investment. Well there’s always a low and high risk in every investment. Another good product where you can put your money and derive profit is precious metals such as silver and gold. It’s made available by Monaco Rare Coin who offers collectors and investors an array of resources. They’re also a part of Monex company and provides rare coins investment on certified coins in gold, silver and platinum. Collectors now can buy rare coins for their collections and investors can be assured of high rate of return of investment with these rare coins. I’m a collector of old silver coins and I know many collectors can benefit with Monaco rare coins.

Good Start!

Will have to rush some tasks this night and I'm planning to do it until midnight or until dawn if I can stay awake and active. My day was spent with many online tasks and I went to school also to attend meeting and get school card of Ruth. I arrived school not too early but not so late also, at least fairly good in time now unlike the previous year's meeting when I have to be undertime in office just to attend school meetings. I was happy with my eldest 1st periodical grades and told her that every effort that she made was reflected in her grades. She need to have good grades on her card as she will present it when she applies for secondary schooling. Nice start!

Relaxing in Patio

It’s fun and relaxing staying in patio especially if the whole family is around. I remember using our patio when everything in the house was a mess and furniture in the living room was full of dirt due to flood. We were lucky that we have space for a simple patio because it’s very useful. I just noticed that we should look for a new patio furniture as the old glass table and steel chairs need companion in the patio.

Things to Consider in Having your Own Site

When I started having my first blog my friend JennyL thought me all the basics of blogging. During those days I only have freehosted blogs at bravejournal and I didn’t know much about hosting and domain. When I opened my first blog in blogspot my friend encouraged me to buy a domain for myself and we redirected my blogspot blog to my domain using her tutorial. I was very excited then to have my very first own domain name and was contented to get my first name as my domain.

Having my own domain opened a way for me to also earn income through my site. It opened many opportunities that a regular freehosted blog can’t get in. I still manage to maintain my first two blogs with bravejournal even if it has restrictions on some things. I love them because those are the blogs that I started with. My two blogs covers writings of my life, work, family and faith. It is where I write inspirational thoughts, share my life’s journey and my family’s activities. It was also a way for me to express my feelings and thoughts which I haven’t shared in many people.

Writing is different from talking, it expands your horizons more than you’ve ever imagined. And I never imagined also that I will go this far, as far as having five blogs now with another one in the making. Well I wouldn’t be enjoying my blogs if it weren’t for the good web hosting companies that I found. They were recommended to me by my friend and when I checked it at a website which offers reviews and lists of top ten web hosts I learned that my two web hosts are included in the top ten. Choosing the best web hosting company is of utmost importance if you have your own site. If you’re still thinking about getting your own web host I suggest you search sites like web hosting choice who provides free guide and helpful information on choosing the best web hosting plan. You’ll definitely know the site’s features, reliability, uptime and tech support and all capabilities of the top ten web hosting hosts.

Assessing the Car's Damage

We’re still not through with cleaning the car as hubby is going to office everyday. He’s doing it slowly day by day that’s why our friends in the church suggested a one-day leave from work and fix the car together. That’s so sweet of them especially our Pastor who insisted that hubby dedicate one day to be with them all to check the car, assess the damage and repair it. They have some knowledge in auto mechanic and whatever damage that they wouldn’t know how to do they will pass to professional mechanic. The important thing is to check the damage this early to prevent further damages. We can’t use the car on our Sunday fellowship so we take a cab on our way to and from the church.

After the big flood that hit most metropolis town I noticed that some car owners are thinking of selling their cars because they would spend big amount of money to revive their cars. I just wonder if they’re also going to sell motorhome if they have one. As for me I won’t if I have one because I just love the convenience of traveling on motorhomes, it would also be perfect for our three-day camp meeting fellowship.

Herbal Tea Instead of Coffee

I started drinking ABS herbal tea today instead of drinking too much coffee as I can feel it’s not doing me good. No I’m not stopping my coffee intake I’m just limiting the number of times I’m taking it to prevent being addicted to it. That’s what we’re always joking about ‘our coffee addiction’. Imagine I’ve been very health conscious and I don’t eat foods that are proven to have bad effects but I’m taking coffee thrice a day? Not good I know so I’m limiting it to one cup a day.

Hope I can continue it as it’s also making me fat because most of the times I put too much sugar and milk to make it so creamy. This is another step of decreasing my risk of heart problems and also on gaining pounds again. I’m happy now that I’m slowly taking control of my weight. Although it’s not really noticeable that I lost little amount of pounds the fact remains that I’m on the losing side and I don’t have to think yet of taking diet pills now as most of my friends did when they gained pounds. I don’t mind taking it also as long as it’s safe for my health.

Got Worried!

Got a little worried when I read Ruth’s message that her head was aching. I instructed her to get permission and pass from her teacher so she can go home as soon as possible. I’m waiting for her response so I can go to their school now but since the afternoon session started and it rained heavily at the same time her teacher decided no to let her go as it’s safer to stay in school. She sent me a message not to fetch her as she’ll be finishing her classes and will come home at 4 pm. I’m glad that she has decided to stay as exposure to heavy rains might make her ill even if she’s with me. Anyway I can’t just go there during classes as it’s not permitted, only on emergency and since it’s only a headache Ruth decided to stay for another 3 hours. My kids have their service vehicle in school but I’ll go to her before her classes ends.

Results of Always Working at Midnight

Lately I’ve been blogging at night up to at least 2 in the morning because I can have my own time with no disturbances. It’s hard to write when there’s so much chores to do or errands to go so I chose late nights up to midnight or early dawn to finish all my tasks and do blog hopping. I really miss visiting my favorite sites and I want to return the drops of my ec visitors. I had a hard time updating my schedule especially visiting other blogs when power became inconsistent due to storm in the last week of September and power plant fire on the early days of this month. I was lucky to finish and submit all my due tasks on time. Actually I just had my blogging next town to us and schedule my time according to power interruption schedule so by the time I got there I will be assured that there’s power!

But midnight blogging is not really healthy if done for continuous days so maybe I’ll stop today as power has returned to normal conditions since Monday. Many friends I knew who are staying on their PCs until early dawn have stopped suddenly because they incurred skin abnormalities in their face like pimples, acne and skin tightness. They were asking me of the best acne treatment and vitamins for the skin because it’s embarrassing to go to office with acne or pimples. And at a matured age it’s not normal as we all know teenagers were the ones susceptible to acne.

I'm the 60's

Sounds funny because I was expecting I was on the 80's decade as things I love most falls under the 80's decade especially with music and fashion, anyway it brought my mind into another level of thinking that my personality is more compatible with decade 60's.

You Are the 1960s

You are a liberal minded, progressive, and caring person. You believe in love.

You appreciate the dynamic days of the 1960s, when people truly wanted to change the world.

You believe in justice and equality for all. You can't rest until everyone in the world is treated fairly.

You are willing to stand firm for what you believe in, even if no one else is standing with you.

Managing Your Own Business

When my former employer’s daughter started a business a year ago she had a hard time managing all the licenses, location hunting, staff management and looking for small entrepreneur to provide her with some labor and products she’s selling. I’ve known her for years and I didn’t expect her to be so dedicated and hardworking. Despite of being so tired and pressured sometimes she even managed to put a smile on her face which makes her so charming.

Actually I can understand her problems sometimes as I’ve been involved with a small meat products business before and dealing with supplies and providers are quite a handful especially if you have orders to deliver or deadlines to meet. In order to cope with the demands of starting up a business you must deal with good clients and suppliers or companies like fulfillment center who can give the best service with the best of solutions. That’s when you’ll start enjoying your own business.

Heads or Tails : Cause

Heads Or Tails

It's Tuesday once again it's time for our Heads Or Tails again.... The theme/prompt for THIS week, October 13, is: HEADS - "Cause"

I just want to share the help done by the Philippine Navy to victims of storm 'Ondoy' in Cainta, Rizal. Actually I was awed when I saw many trucks of them passing through the main streets of our town on their way to Cainta Municipal Hall. Their help was in full blast after the storm where they distributed packages which I think thousands of relief goods to residents infront of our Municipal Hall, that's of course in coordination with our local government and private groups. I even went there with my friend Jen because her friend donated some goods also. They were the ones who were in the front door and will ask the purpose of all people coming in. I've also seen them clearing the streets and made sure that all drainage along Imelda Avenue were clear from litters.

They were really there for a CAUSE and that's to help their countrymen recover from the wrath of the storm in anyway they can be it in distributing relief goods, maintaining peace and order during distribution and rehabilitation efforts.

Online Backup for Your Precious Files

I dropped by my daughters’ school today and had some news about their experiences on the recent flood. The school luckily saved their computers even though it happened on a weekend where the only person present is the school guard. He has the presence of mind to run for the principal’s office and secured whatever important things and equipment he can possibly saved.

For the other schools I’ve heard that their files were corrupted because the flood water has reached to a very high level that drowned their computers. It was just too bad that there’s no one who had the chance to save the computers. When I heard cases like these I always think of having online backup for my very important files, documents, videos and images. Backup is the safest way to assure yourself that whatever happens you can retrieve your files anytime.

For the past two weeks after the catastrophe we felt like drained and worn out after the busy storm days. Love Dogs So Much

My cousin has always been fond of pets. And for his pets he chooses dogs with breed. Actually it’s not only him but his whole family who love dogs very much. They’ve created a portion of their house for their dogs so they can have bigger space to move well. What makes me smile when I see them are the time and attention they give to their dogs. They also lavish them with dog supplies including shampoo, some accessories and food. When the big flood came into our town they also brought the dogs up to their upper floor of their house so they will survived also. Such love for their pets. In return their pets serve as their guard during the day when some strangers dropped by our compound and during the night to protect them from burglars .

Car Allowance Benefits

I remember what my former boss always tell me that people are the most important assets of the company and as such they should be given enough benefits and salary to live comfortably. With this in his mind he started his new telecommunications company with promising packages for his employees. Several years ago when I was transferred to his new company I was given a 30% salary increase, incentives and allowance. I was happy that my days of endless working nights doing bidding proposal is over. With the new package I got I feel that my 10 years of being a good employee in his other company paid off.

We started the company with full of hopeful perspective that we’ll succeed. The managers are free to reimburse any expenses incurred for meeting up clients and providers. The amounts are not questioned because my boss believes honesty is very well practiced in his new company. Account executives that went out everyday to transact and meet with clients were given Car Allowance to use for their personal cars which they used for travel and meetings. This allowance coupled with incentives inspired others to work hard also.

I’m responsible in computing all allowance reimbursements and incentives of the marketing staff and I know if their numbers doubled up I’ll need the services of Corporate Reimbursement Services, Inc. which customize reimbursement program of their client company. They will calculate all of mobile employees' reimbursement rates, mileage history, gas price and more. They’ll make things easier for their client and will save them lots of money because they will not issue cars now they will just give them allowances for their cars. Now this thing has become beneficial for both employees and employer.

The Car Connection and Some Reviews

If women love shopping I’m sure you’ll agree that boys love cars. Even if they’re just little they seem to enjoy miniature toy cars or big plastic cars. I have a cousin that collects car in different make and form. He has in his collection cars in wood, plastic, metals and even paper cars. He just loves any form of cars. He has a real car by the way and he maintains it more carefully and lavishly than his house. Well we have our own preferences and hobbies you know.

Anyway for the boys who has enough finances they usually spend much on elegant cars and waiting for new release of cars like the sporty mid sedan 2010 ford fusion hybrid or another model like 2010 ford escape hybrid. It’s just something that feels like fulfillment for those who have their heart pinned to pretty cars. Well if they can afford it why not?

Actually if you’re always on the net like me and fascinated with the latest model of cars you wouldn’t pass the chance of reading car reviews like I did with 2010 saturn review. It would help enthusiast find their perfect desired vehicle because they would have a chance to weigh and balance reviews. Reviews really help searchers and buyers and other people opinion is a contribution to our plan most of the times. And we should think not just twice but thrice on choosing the cars we want to buy because it’s too expensive to make mistakes even if you’re wealthy enough to buy any kind you want.

Car Connection offers reviews which you can read to assess the car’s performance, quality, styling, safety and of course features. Take this review I’ve read from the site - 2010 lexus is. Perfect for those who want space because it has a spacious backseat for convertible and a cargo space. It has an acceleration with 350c and good ride quality. The price is competitively good. Well not all cars are perfect as some dislikes include no rev-matching, it has a conservative styling and 250C’s engine feels overwhelmed. That’s the kind of reviews you’ll read when you search for cars. So that will surely help seekers in their decision.

Missing Snail Mails

One thing that I miss in this high technology generation is when a postman called my name in our gate and tells me ‘you’ve got mail’. I can’t explain my excitement over those letters sent to me. During my primary and secondary years I’ve been receiving letters from a childhood friend in our province in Laguna and some letters from relatives abroad. I would always check on our mailbox which is so much like Custom Mailboxes and if I found one for me that would make my day.

Actually my Mom was the fanatic in our house when it comes to mails as her close relatives live in California and she used to receive letters and packages from them. It used to make her very happy and I was excited too because my hobby then was stamp collection. I would always show my international stamps to my pals. Those were the days when there’s no mobile phones and internet so we value those letters in our simple mailbox, we do not have Personalized Mailboxes then but if it were available then we would have ordered one for our house because our family loves personalized things. Anyway we were happily contented with landline telephone and snail letters.

Now modern technology offers multiple form of communication fast, quick and easy. With the recent technology in mobile phones, instant messaging and emails you can send and receive messages instantly no matter how far you are to each other. It’s amazing isn’t it and I have never imagined life would be like this especially when I looked back at the times that it would take two weeks for my Christmas card to reach my godmother in California. But inspite of this I still love snail mails, those letters gives me a feeling of warmth caring so I still want mailboxes for our homes. And I found quality and elegant Whitehall Mailboxes which really suits my style and taste. I’ve always loved hard carved wood sculpture on metal and this is what I want for my mailbox. I’m still choosing from their selection of wall mounted, ultimate, superior and premium but actually they’re all beautiful and sure to make your front exterior lovely.

Connection Resumed

I’ve been lagging behind some meme or at least if I had posted them sometimes I was late in submitting them because of the limited power we have here in our place. This is due to the recent power plant fire which affected not only us in Rizal but also in some Metro Manila cities and towns. I’ve been laughing with my Mom because last week I’ve been running after due tasks and when I was on a relaxed mode and quite finished with my tasks here comes connection and power interruption again.

Today my internet connectivity was resumed which gave me a happy smile as I don’t have to go to other place or rent on internet cafĆ©. It’s dangerous for me to use other PC especially public PC as there’s always the possibility of exposing my sites and passwords to hackers. So when I rent PC I only open sites that I need most to be safe. Now I only have to monitor the power interruption schedule as it was scheduled on a 4-hour rotation among affected areas. Good luck to me as power I think will be out anytime now!

Understanding Other Languages and Cultures

In this present economic crisis where companies suddenly closes out and regular jobs becomes unstable. Even large companies declare financial losses and multinational corporations look for cheaper labor elsewhere. Most stay at home mothers started to look for jobs that will give them extra income to help their husbands in bringing food to their family’s table. As they need to stay at home to look for kids it’s very appropriate to find online jobs like that of a bilingual and professional translator, you just have to visit Translia and sign up for the job. It would certainly help in augmenting the family’s income.

Language is a very important means of making communications better and without communication the world will not be a better place to live because there will be misunderstanding and confusion. We all know that each country has its own language and even though we uses English as the international language not all people know how to speak and write English. It’s good if you know two or three languages but there’s nothing to worry about if you don’t because there’s a website for translation services.

Translia brings together translators and clients needing translation. It helps those who know different languages to enter a job in the field of online translation services and it also bridges the gap of miscommunications between two people speaking different languages. It will be easier now to understand books in foreign language and to learn the different cultures of many countries. It’s going to be an exciting time to learn and educate ourselves as the site offers free translation. This special site will surely assist and help you in translating needed materials.

Power Plant Fire

I was on a chance blogging this time as there has been a power plant fire in the town next to us in Taytay, Rizal. This happened last Wednesday late night while I was on our bible study in Kamias. Brownouts were experienced in almost whole Metro Manila and Rizal and I also had problem with my internet connection as some SmartBro base stations were affected including the station where I and my friend JennyL were connected. I had to go over to my brother and cousin’s house to use other internet provider but that failed also. Internet cafĆ© on next town solved my problem. Anyway as I’m working on limited time and connection I wasn’t able to return the visits of my ec droppers and visitors. I’ll visit you again guys when things normalized again. Thanks for the visit anyway!

Shedding Some Pounds

I’ve been sorting my things and clothes and found an old one which used to be my favorite but have been stored in the cabinet because I’ve grown so big. Now after the pressures and tight schedules we’ve gone through I think I lose some pounds because the blouse suddenly fits. It used to be so tight on me so I guess I was able to shed some pounds for the last few weeks. I planned to start my diet plan a month ago and thought also of using fat burner also. But now that I learned how to lose pounds by having fruits on dinner I think I’ll pass that of. Anyway If I should use fat burner I still have to consult and seek my doctor’s advice.

These are the small replicas of the planes used by Philippine Airforce in the old days as you can see in the label beside some of the planes. Josh enjoyed going through all the planes, uniform, fighting gear and machines, equipment and many other things connected to Airforce which were preserved by museum. Actually even Mommies enjoyed it!

Get the Most Cash from Your Gold Coins

I collect old coins since I was in primary grade and now that I have kids of my own I let them see the coins that we used when we were young. It helped them to imagine the younger days we had then. Actually the hobby started when my Mom gave me a coin that’s dated way back before I was born and I got excited about owning an old coin. Since then every time a coin was replaced by the government by a new one I keep some for myself to add to my collection.

One of my officemate once told me that one of my silver coin collections was being bought at a very high price and she asked me if I want to sell mine. I’m not ready to part with my collections so I didn’t take the money but I was glad to know that my collection was appreciating its value. Now my collection hobby became a little investment too. It’s a small reassurance that if thing get tough and I’ll be needing money I’ll have something that I can fall back on.

For those who want to make money out of their long time collections now is the time as you can sell gold coins to Refinity.com By selling your old gold coins you will not only have money but you can also help protect our planet because Refinity.com is an eco-friendly company that buy old coins and refine it for other usage. It was known to help minimize mining thus reducing the risk of environment hazard. By the way they also buy precious metal and jewelries so if you have collections of those things too you can visit their site and get the most cash out of your collections.

Heads or Tails : Build

Heads Or Tails

It's Tuesday once again it's time for our Heads Or Tails again.... The theme/prompt for THIS week, October 6, is: HEADS - "Build"

As I mentioned in my ten on tuesday in my other blog I want to BUILD a vacation house in my hometown in Laguna (Philippines) where the whole family could spend lazy weekends and at the same time visit our close relatives there, side of my Mom. I can still remember our happy childhood there in the province running in the fields surrounded by fruit bearing trees, playing in the small river and enjoying the day with picnic basket. I want my children to experience life in the province with fresh air and simple life even on weekends only.

Mesothelioma Doctors

Sometimes your work which is the source of income to sustain your family’s need can be a hazard to health. If you’ve worked for a company that doesn’t think of employees’ welfare you may be subjected or exposed to sickness that can take your life. This is true for those workers who worked and have been exposed to asbestos in their working environment. The manufacturer of asbestos was very much aware of the health hazard of asbestos but they didn’t protect their workers thus it led them to mesothelioma, a rare cancer which is acquired from exposure to asbestos. I just hope that these owners have the ability to find good Mesothelioma doctors to guide, care and treat Mesothelioma patients. Patients should get the best experienced Mesothelioma physician in order to give the proper treatment to those victims of asbestos.

:PH 181 : Words

These words say a lot about the kid wearing this shirt. He's very fond of this shirt because as he told me it includes me. The shirt was one of Josh' favorite as he believe it's true :-) because some people told him he looks like me. Here he posed for me last year when I'm testing the shots from my new point and shoot camera

Back to Normal

At last we were able to bring back our appliances, sofas and kitchen back to its usual order, I’ve been very tired with sorting, cleaning and tidying things up. I’m just glad that our house looks like a home now when we finally set things up. There’s just one advantage and lesson that the storm has left us, we should not have so many unnecessary clutter in the house. We just have to let go of old things so we’ll be free from too much house accessories that hinders our movement when bad situation comes. Now that we have cleaned the house upside down we discarded our old sofas and some other things that others can put to good use. It’s a nice feeling when everything has been arranged and I just have to check this Rocky Patel that my friend is asking me. He asked me to help him check the promotions attached with it, it's just part of his assignment with his boss.

Expired Tasks

Didn’t get some sleep because I was worried that I might get account suspension from one company that I write for. I finished all I can finish and decline some tasks that need to be declined in order to get my account in good standing. They emailed me last Saturday and gave me multiple tasks to do but that’s also the same day that the storm hit us and damaged our properties. I never had the chance to read my emails since Saturday because we have no electricity for 5 days and that 5th day was the expiration of those tasks. And all I could think of those days were our safety as the storm hit our town so badly. I couldn’t do something about it as network also failed during those days so I have no choice but to wait for our situation to normalize. I explained my situation to them and hope they’ll understand.

BTW I've posted some photos of the flood here!

The Creation art of an Advanced Decorative Concrete Installation

You know what, I guess 7 years ago (or thereabouts), I decided that I wanted to learn everything there was to know about decorative concrete Virginia installations. Therefore, I resolved that I would first, and foremost, need to go and visit a facility that specializes in stamped and decorative concrete installations and designs. So, I found one-Decocreteva.com-and arranged a 3-hour tour. What I can tell you is that I was literally knocked out of my rather bouncy boots by the total amount of information that someone needs to understand in order to specialize in the topic of decorative concrete design. If I started learning everything about it right now, I might know as much or perhaps more than the top experts in about five to ten years. Well now, I've got quite a lot of work cut out for me, don't I. Better hit the books and get started. But I'm tired! I don't feel like starting! Well, as Miss Mother Maple once said, star-like people don't do things because they like to do them; they do them because they need to do them. I not only want to learn everything there is to learn about concrete systems, but I want to be able to singlehandedly do the installation of concrete systems without help from a stranger for industrial, residential, and commercial applications. With a lot of work and a little bit of luck, I should be able to learn everything about them very soon. And then it will be a grtand day. A very, very, happy day. I may novel sitting on a desk that nobody quite wants to read, but right now I know a thing or two about industrial flooring systems.

Purifying Diet Tips

We are the temple of God and we must keep our soul, mind and body in good condition always. For the soul and mind we must have a personal relationship with God in order to save ourselves from the bad influences that may harm our spirit. In keeping up a healthy body we should eliminate toxins to cleanse our body of harmful substances that lead up to the common sickness we have in our society today. Diet should have no animal products or if we can’t avoid it just a little or just be contented with fish. We should eat a lot of vegetables and fruits where we can get a lot of essential vitamins.

Alcohol, sugar, salt and food additives that contain chemicals should be eliminated from our everyday diet. This is hard but a little effort each day is worth it. Even me I can’t say that I can avoid sugar immediately. I promised myself to make an effort little by little.

Water is good as they say we must drink large amounts of water each day let’s say around 8 glasses a day depending on your lifestyle, let’s say if you’re in an air-conditioned room you tend to be relaxed and need to drink water less because of the temperature while a construction worker may be needing more than the prescribed amount of water as they perspire a lot during their work. Nevertheless drinking water should be carefully done also as we should drink clean purified or distilled water.

We should also refrain from drinking too much coffee and tea. As I’m doing this write up my eyes lingered on my coffee. I’m a coffee drinker and I drink 3 cups a day but now I’ve limited it to one or two only. As I mentioned earlier I’m making little efforts daily and that includes minimizing my intake of coffee if not completely eliminated. I know I’ll reach my goal in the future. So guys start doing some efforts to purify your diet and you’ll be a healthier person after that. We only need some discipline and perseverance. Good luck to us!

:Looking at the Sky on Friday #44- Coca Cola

Photobucket

We were in Josh' educational tour when I snapped a photo of this giant can of softdrinks. The Coca Cola factory was not one of our itinerary but the tour guide explained to the kids what the factory plant is for. I took this picture through the bus' glass windows, glad the shot is clear enough even when the glass windows is tinted. Just find the color of the skies in the background so blue and beautiful.

Happy Friday! Visit more of beautiful sky photos here!

Easy Shopping Online

It’s been a busy week for us as we were cleaning the mess brought about by the recent storm that caused flooding in Metro Manila and nearby provinces. We were all shocked that this severe flooding happened in our place as this is the first time that waters have reached to 5 ft. level inside our house. Now people in our community were left with mud, soiled clothes, nearly junk appliances and wet documents.

We were lucky enough to have second floor in the house where I saved all my rescued things from the ground floor of our house. I just had to buy new shoes for my kids as the texture is a little moist from inside. I feel so tired because I had few sleepless nights due to blackout that run for 5 days. Now that we have electricity and internet connection I can do my shopping online. It feels good that I can buy my kids’ shoes in the comfort of my home without having to run to the nearest department store.

I’m glad that I discovered it years ago where I buy what I need for my house and family online. Very convenient indeed! Imagine finding not just my personal things but my son’s school shoes but my daughter’s bike shoes as well.
It’s what I’ll call shopping made easy. I know all women love shopping and they risk the pain in their feet hopping from one store to another just to look and buy what they need. Thanks to Shopwiki as they seek every store in the net making them available to shoppers through their site. So if you need something for your family like me who found a good bike shoes sale, a starchild navy blue leather bike shoes which is just right for my daughter with soft leather suede sole for comfort and elasticated ankle.
