How to Plan a Vacation With Your Best Friends

For many people, taking a vacation is a luxury that they only get to enjoy on special occasions. Most families take occasional vacations together, but these can be stressful for the parents involved. One of the best things that you can do to relieve stress and bring joy into your life is to take your own vacation with your friends. If you have the time and resources to go on a vacation with your friends, you should take the opportunity. Here are a few things for you to consider when planning a vacation with your friends.

First, make sure that you pick a vacation that everyone will be able to enjoy. This means taking into consideration the financial and other needs of your friends when you plan. Don't pick something that is too expensive for everyone to be able to enjoy or that will end up adding stress to anyone's life. Instead, pool your resources and find a vacation spot that's luxurious without being too pricey. For example, book a group tour of wineries in your area with an overnight stay at a local hotel.

Next, think about activities that will bring joy to all of your friends. Consider everyone's interests and how you can all have a great time together. For example, you may want to look into attending a Christian women workshop, like those offered by Hearts of God. This could bring you and your friends closer together, as you bond over your shared experiences, thoughts, fears, prayers, and ideas. Make sure that you don't leave anyone out when making these plans, however. It's important that your vacation is fun for everyone who is invited to attend.

Finally, make sure that you keep an open line of communication both before and during your trip. Even if you're all the best of friends, there is bound to be some friction any time you have a large group celebrating together. Talk to your friends and get their ideas before you commit to any plans. Then, relax and have a great time.

:WW - DSI Good Old Friends

Got a chance to meet my long time friends in my former job in Design Science. Jen (on far left) and I planned it over a year ago but it didn't happen due to our busy schedule. Then suddenly Jen invited us to her birthday dinner and even if most of us can't come on that day we continued on our plan with almost 80% of our friends not present. Anyway we talked just like the old days and laughed at the joy, hardship and old memories that we had. A day would not suffice for us but we agreed to meet again but we'll have it well planned so we can really have a real reunion. I really miss all of them.

Sorry for the not so good shots here as we just ate, chatted, talked and forgot to take pictures. It was an after thought that we should have some pics lol! The guy taking the shots can't concentrate on the button as we keep on talking to him at the same time, see the results :-)

Jen's Birthday!

It's my bestfriend's birthday today and I will not write here how old she is or she might kill me lol! If you want to know her age you can visit her site. JennyL or Bes as we fondly called each other celebrated her birthday today very simply, they had a sumptous lunch yesterday for the whole family and today she had pasta and cake. As she always say birthdays are meant for the young ones and as you grow older celebrations are getting simpler except for the remarkable oldies' birthdays of course such as 50 and 75 years.

I brought along Josh with me and greeted my Bes. After eating we spent the rest of the time talking about our blogs, our friends and how grand we celebrate our birthdays when we're young. We missed those days of early planning and preparing for our birthdays, excited with our visitors and just so happily carefree with the occasion. When you grow old you're always mindful of the time and it always seems that you have to schedule everything.

Anyway after all these years I thank God that Jen and I are still there for each other maybe a lot older than we were in high school days but still the same people who cared for each other. Looks may change, years may add, status may differ but still friendship never change. We're still bestfriends......for life.
