iPhone App Development

I have a very busy schedule and I always find myself wishing that I could read my emails wherever I go or open some nice sites while waiting at the school or while my kids are playing at the arcade. It’s just that my work is based on all online things that I always have to be online or be updated with my incoming emails. With the latest craze in town when it comes to high tech gadgets I know that iPhone can do it all and it will make my work easier to cope up because I’ll have access even while I was in my little boy’s school. It also has an iPhone App Development that added up to its usage. Actually I can bring my laptop but it’s big and heavy and I don’t want to bring it to wherever I want. I don’t want to overuse it also so I’m thinking of another gadget that I can bring anywhere I want. I want an iPhone because it’s light and small but has many wonderful uses. I was just wondering when I will be able to save for its purchase.

Anyway I browsed online and learned that Sourcebits has achieved the place for the official iPhone software developer and been very creative in developing much awaited iPhone Games Development, iPhone App Development and Android App Development for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Android, BlackBerry and Adobe AIR. They have a strong group of 200 developers and designers who put their expertise in bringing their clients to high quality service and latest trends in the market. The more I surf and read about this the more I wanted to own an iPhone.

The Missing Pencils

Here goes my little boy again. He lost his pencil again and it’s becoming a normal case now. I’ve talked with his teacher last month to help me with this problem and now it’s happening again. Last week his classmate pointed me where his other pencils are and the boy who got it returned the pencils to him. Now my little boy told me that his classmate borrowed those pencils to him. Maybe he didn’t want to embarrass his classmate. Oh boy! Hope with my discovery of that this frequent cases will stop because I don’t want to make an issue out of this. Now his notebook is missing and it’s supposed to be with his teacher. I’ll go again to his school this afternoon to follow up his notebook and hope I’ll get a positive answer. Their notebooks were bought from the school so it’s not that easy to replace it. Anyway it’s not his fault so I’m not forced to replace it. Meanwhile Josh brought temporary notebook to write on.

Education is an Investment

I attended a seminar in my little boy’s school and there were many good speakers but there’s one speaker that I remembered very well now. He said that having our children enrolled in a good school with Christian values is a very good decision. He cited some common terms of parents saying that educating children is very expensive. The speaker told us that education may be expensive but we should take it as an investment and not as expense. This is true because if you have sent your kids to good school they will experience quality education that will see them through finishing their career course and eventually find a good paying job. Just like when we invest our money on stable things like precious metals or gold bullion. It will not be an expense but a good solid investment that will give a high return of investment after several years. It can also be one of your best collections.

What Season is Your Soul Connected To?

Your Soul Is Connected to the Spring

You are an optimistic, eternally hopeful person. No matter how dark things get, you always see the light.
You are open-minded and always up for a fresh outlook on life. You don't cling to ideas or beliefs.

You are sweet hearted and have good intentions. Even though you've seen a lot in life, you remain innocent.
People see you as playful and even a bit airy. You feel free to be yourself, and that's a beautiful thing.

Being an open-minded person you should have positive outlook in life.  A person will not grow if he's always on the negative side of life.  Life is short and we should enjoy the beauty of life, the company of our friends, the love of our family and the blessings that God always gives us.  We should be thankful for every little simple things in life that we have.  Give thanks to God for small and big things, happy or sad moments, healthy or sick body and everything we have.

Cash Advances

In this generation of modern innovations and high technology people sometimes live beyond their means. You can call it peer pressure but sometimes people want to belong so they would buy things even if they can’t afford it. I’m also fond of high tech gadgets and equipment but I see to it that I schedule my whims on my payday. If I want a very expensive gadget I would save for it even if it will took me months before I will be able to have it. I must practice a smart way of handling our finances because I have three schooling kids that needs constant funding for their basic needs, tuition fees and other expenses. I actually buy when there are extra funds because I want to prioritize basic family necessities. Prices of commodities are getting high and despite wise money management there comes a time that you need emergency funds for unpredicted things in life. In cases like this I avail myself small cash advances to help me get through tough times such as sickness in the family or emergency expenses. It’s a great help if you’ll find ways of getting cash advances easy and quickly.

Well there are many friends that you can borrow money from but still you have to conquer your embarrassment and explanations would have to be ready why you need to borrow money from them. It’s better to borrow from companies that will give you cash advances without collateral because that would mean long processing time. Many would give it fast and easy so it’s better to search online for the right agencies for your loans at lower interest rates and easy payment mode. Well there are many cash advance sites and companies that give out cash advances you only have to look for the best that meets your requirements.

Are these forms of mountain familiar to you? Well if you're a Filipino who loves myth stories this one would be perfect for you. Ok for those who don't know this is Mt. Makiling in my hometown Laguna where Maria Makiling was said to be seen in the old times. It was told that the mountain has a form of a woman lying whose name is Maria Makiling, a beautiful nymph as the story told.

Well as exciting as the story was I really don't have any idea as to the real story behind it. Anyway this is the modern world of high tech gadgets and equipment so I will close it as myth for now...

I love sky watching wherever my cam takes me. It makes me very thankful of God's wonderful creations.  Visit more beautiful sky photos just click on the badge above!

Boat Engine

My friend loves his newly built beach house and spent most of his time staying there. He enjoys life in the rural areas and slowly adapting the life and ways of the community there. Not only that but the water activities that he’s beginning to like surfing, snorkeling and boating. He’s now into the hobby of maintaining his own boat and he sees to it that it’s always in good running condition. He takes care of the Boat engine and subjects it to regular preventive maintenance to assure him that his entire boating trip would be always enjoyable. I just don’t know if he has heard of U.S. Engines’ products because if he has I know he’ll be saving to acquire even one Marine engine. I browsed through their site and learned that they’re a good provider of reliable, affordable and high quality rebuilt engines that meant to last for long.

They offer the best for a variety of vehicles from marine engines to car engines. They have their very powerful rebuilt Mercruiser engines which I learned have increased torque that delivers higher performance without adding cost to your pocket because they consume less fuel at the same time that they produce more horsepower. Great isn’t it! That would only mean better boating trips for the boating hobbyists and more enjoyable afternoon in the waters.

Israel Tour

If there’s one place abroad that I want to go it’s of course the land of Israel. In our church we always talked about ancient biblical lands that have been a part of history of mankind. I long to have the chance to take Israel Tour and visit those lands which I considered a journey to spiritual land for which the Christian heritage has begun. Well I have some friends working there now and I’m surprised that they really decided to stay there for good. They’ve been there fro about a decade now and still enjoying their work there. One time that they were here we had a chance to meet and they told me that it’s nice to work and a lot different from other countries they’ve worked in the past. Having a Tour to Israel seems a very nice thing to do as I have my list of historical and biblical lands that I wanted to personally see for myself.

It will be an achievement for me if my plans to go there will materialize because I will part of the great heritage of those ancient years. Imagine walking on the same lands that chosen children of God and prophets has walked on. Ayelet Tours offers wide variety of tours to Israel. They provide family tours, Israel tours, adventures to Jordan and Petra and Hadassah tours. But the most unparalleled Israel adventures for the whole family is the Bar mitzvah tours Israel which includes ten nights accommodation with breakdown of periods in different areas, land arrangements, dinners, adventures and free land tour for the Bat Mitzvah child. Kids growing up means additional budget for their daily activities, basic necessities, change of wardrobe and bigger closets. :Looking at the Sky on Friday #90 - Clouds Over Abandoned Building

Photobucket

Click the image to see larger view

This is a shot of the sky over the old abandoned building in Tagaytay's Picnic Grove. Well it's actually a wrecked building which was full of air conditioned rooms in the past. Maybe the management have future plans for it but seeing it there reminds me of good times in the past when DH and I were singles. We used to have summer camp meeting fellowship in this place with our family and brethren. All of the abandoned buildings were still small hotels then and many tourists and vacationing families are renting there to spend a day or two to relax and have a peaceful day in the scenic place. Many changes have happened in this area but whatever changes it may have now this place will always have sweet memories for me.

I love sky watching wherever my cam takes me. It makes me very thankful of God's wonderful creations.  Visit more beautiful sky photos just click on the badge above!

Fine Wines

I remember having plenty of wines during December holidays and all came from different managers that I know from our clients and providers in telco business. I was given fine wines by one country manager whose been so kind to me and some wines from friends who especially chose the wine with 7.5% alcohol or less content for me to be able to drink it. I’m not really a wine drinker with high alcohol content so they really made some effort to buy a different wine for me. That’s when I searched for different wines available in the market. I browsed many sites until I came upon Sokolin which was known as the renowned international wine retailer and offers wide variety of premier wine. You can ask for advices regarding the wine that must be used for certain occasions and how it can be arrange with them.

Visit their site and see their finest rare wines or you can choose from among their extensive selection of wines in different color, price, availability, vintage, color, format, producer, country, region, price and many others. Are You a Brainiac

You Are a Total Brainiac

You're amazingly brilliant. Some would even say genius.
You're curious, thoughtful, analytical, and confident.

You take on difficult subjects because you want to... not because you have to.
No field of knowledge is too complicated or intimidating for you.

You've got the brains to do anything you want.
It's possible you end up doing everything you want.

It's just a test guys,  I'm not claiming it  but it's true that I'm always curious about things, has thoughtful ideas  whenever I'm free and alone, very analytical with situational problems of my friends and relatives but an average confident person only.

Importance of Gutter Covers

Before and After

It’s raining again and I’m glad I had all our windows, roof, gutters and canals checked because it may cause us problems if one of them will malfunction on rainy days. Actually before the summer ends I had our regular maintenance man check all of the things I mentioned because I don’t want to worry about those things when rainy season comes in. My Mom’s apartment was first checked up and the maintenance man found out that leaves are piling up in the gutter. He cleaned the gutter and installed some filters so it will not clog up anymore. It cost us some cash including our own house maintenance but it’s worth our money because if we neglect maintaining them it will cause us further problems on stormy days.

It’s a common problem to many household and sometimes they just can’t get it repaired on summer days. Gutters are very important in making the rain waters flow smoothly from the roof down to canals so it’s imperative that leaves, twigs and some other debris are filtered properly. We should install good quality gutters like gutters Richmond which ensures superior gutter protection by installing LeavesOut Gutter Covers that filters twigs, leaves and tree debris to keep your downspouts clog-free. Anyway you’ll never worry about buying them and not be satisfied with their product as they have a Lifetime Product Warranty and Money-Back Satisfaction Guarantee. Visit them now and avail of these helpful products for your homes.

Choosing Costumes

As early as now some parents are preparing their smal kids for the trick or treat occasion. I’m wondering why because my little boy usually prepares for that activity before the end of October. We don’t go to the mall to celebrate the activity and we just use his costume for the costume party in his preparatory school. Now that he’s in grade one level I wonder if he’s going to need kids halloween costumes in his new school.

Anyway he has his Robin and Spiderman costumes in his closet but I think he will not use it in school again because he’s using it at home when playing super heroes game. I’ve seen him yesterday looking at Harry Potter’s costume and bookmarked the site together with Ironman costume. Maybe he’s choosing between the two and contemplating when he would ask me.

Review Week

I just finished preparing things for the swimming and will start working on my tasks now. I actually prepared fewer clothes and food because we’ll not bring the kids along. They don’t want to be absent from school because it’s their review week. Next week will be their periodical exams. I value education so much that I instilled in my kids’ mind never to take for granted their learning days. I asked them if they want to come but they refused because it’s hard to ask permission from their school if reasons are not that urgent and they don’t want to miss anything from the review. Teachers usually give related questions from the reviewed questionnaires so it’s an advantage for the students.

Investment Ideas

I’ve been talking to my friend in my kid’s school and she’s so happy that her daughters have stable jobs now. She experienced some financial problems in the past which made her work hard to help her husband who found himself out of job for several months. The husband was able to get freelance job but it was not enough for the schooling kids. Now my friend is so happy that her husband and elder kids have permanent jobs and there’s no need for her work hard. In fact she’s not working for about two years now and she’s only taking care of her family’s needs.

We’re talking our usual friends’ chit chat when I told her about the good value of gold coin and some investment ideas on it. I learned that we can expect higher returns of capital on precious metals like gold, silver and platinum so we might as well think about the good possibilities of buying them. Well the price is too high for us now but who knows? We might have a chance to afford those valuable investments in the future.

Hurrying Up!

I’m hurrying up now because in three hours we’ll be going to our midweek bible study. I’m amazed at how I’ve finished half of my pending tasks that will be due later after midnight. The words are overflowing my mind and I’m pretty confident that I can do marathon blogging. Blessing of outpouring tasks has come again and I was lucky to grab plenty for all of my blogs. I keep telling myself to relax and don’t panic even if I only have today to do all my due tasks because we’re heading off to Calamba to celebrate our Pastor’s birthday in one of the resorts there. I hope before 5 this afternoon I will be able to complete my tasks or I’ll be doing them before our service will drop by here.

TheThought Bubble Test

Your Thoughts Are Emotional

It often seems like you think with your heart instead of your head. Passion is often clouding that brain of yours.
It's hard for you to be aware of your own thoughts, and you find yourself acting before you think things through.

Your thoughts often overwhelm other people, and they sometimes overwhelm you. You tend to say whatever is on your mind.
You react quickly and change your mind just as fast. You're always thinking about something!

I must admit I can be emotional sometimes but I’m not so hard headed at all.  I’m really a heart over head person but I have the ability to balance my feelings and emotions to arrive at the best decision.  I’m a mixed personality person but decision making is very important to me, planning is my forte and contrary to the test I think many times before I do things which is quite the opposite of my dear husband who is an impulse person.  When he thinks it over for a few minutes he’ll do it in the next minute.  I say what I think and what’s on my mind, a very frank person and avoid plastic personality on people.  But the most that this test is right about is that I’m really thinking about something.

Education and Investment

We’ve been lazily conversing about the possible college courses that Ruth will want to take after four years when she finished secondary education. I think she’ll be good in Media Arts, Advertising or IT Courses. I can see in her a good future in those fields but I told her she can take any course that she feels would make her dreams come true. Now she really enjoys the changes in her life when she entered high school. She experience lots of changes and she’s very happy about it. Education is becoming more fun and exciting for her.

I’m glad about that because education is a key to everyone’s success and I would want my kids to finish their studies up to college. That way hubby and I will feel satisfied and secured that our kids will have something in them that no man can steal. It’s like having a sure investment like gold coins that appreciates value throughout the years. You’ll feel secured that no matter what happened you’ll have your returns from your capital. Precious metals increase in values over the years so when you have them in storage or safe bank deposit you’ll soon be reaping profits. That’s the way education and good investment relates to each other.

The Cross

When we have our problems sometimes we think that we're the most unfortunate human in this world.  We pity ourselves and blame others for what happened in our lives.  We asked God why He's giving it all to us and not on others.  We see others as better and luckier with their wealth, beauty, intelligence and success.  This should not be our thinking because we all have our cross to carry.  What differs is how we carry it meaning it's how we carry our problems and what approach are we applying to solve it.  God is testing us in His unique and caring ways that He's giving us some trials to make us stronger and more closer to Him.  Here's one story that I'd like to share with you, hope it will give you some inspirations.

A young man was at the end of his rope, seeing no way out, he dropped to his knees in prayer "Lord, I can't go on," he said. "I have too heavy a cross to bear."

The Lord replied, "My son, if you can't bear its weight, just place your cross inside this room.

Then, open that other door and pick out any cross you wish."

The man was filled with relief and said, "Thank you Lord," and he did as he was told. Upon entering the other room, he saw many crosses; some so large the tops were not visible. Then, he spotted a tiny cross leaning against a far wall.

"I'd like that one, Lord," he whispered. The Lord replied, "My son, that is the cross you just brought in."

When life's problems seem overwhelming, it helps to look around and see what other people are coping with. You may consider yourself far more fortunate than you imagined.

YOUR CROSS

Whatever your cross
Whatever your pain
There will always be sunshine
After the rain
Perhaps you may stumble
Perhaps even fall
But God's always there
To help you through it all

Health Information Helps

I’m currently working on my new health blog which I think is very much needed to give some health tips, info and guidance to people who might somehow find a need to read such kind. I’m very much aware that this generation is not only experiencing great innovations but modern sicknesses as well. It’s a tragic reality that in spite of modern technology and great wisdom of man many people now experience deadly sickness like cancer. We had some cases in our family and I believe that knowing the symptoms, prevention and possible cure for the disease can help in preventing the occurrence of deadly diseases. People should try to learn and study some Health Facts to help in understanding the factors that may cause such diseases.

Visiting sites that give information about the common killer diseases like lung cancer, breast cancer and others can educate and inform us what we should avoid and what to do to prevent us from getting vulnerable to sickness. I just learned about fatigue from lung cancer, factors that cause it and how to cope with it. Cancer is a very dangerous disease that must be cured immediately at the first stages because there are possible chances of surviving it at the first onset. Try to visit healthfacts4u.com and you’ll learn some helpful advice necessary to prevent, cure and live with this disease.

Clean and Safe Environment for Our Kids

We really must have some repair and renovation in the house as I keep on telling on my other posts because some of the areas in the house need repainting and two rooms in the upper floors need to have floor replacement. My sister and I are saving for it and targeting the end of this month to materialize our plans. Before the renovation and repainting my brother reminded us to have lead test kits to check everything that may cause lead poisoning. We really must take all precautions regarding health and safety in our homes to ensure clean and safe environment for our kids to live in.

Recovered from Last Year’s Loss

How I love to have some house make over and buy those modern furniture I’ve seen online while doing some posts for my home blog. After the flood that hit our town last year we gave away some of our home decors and furniture that were affected by immersion in water. We didn’t want to repair them so we just disposed them in order to clear the house of unused appliances, furniture and other things. I’m happy that we’ve recovered around 90% now and if I would buy that furniture we’ll completely forget about what happened last year because we will not able to see our worn-out house things.

Brochure Printing

I’m so happy when I received my pictures I ordered from an online printing company. I find it easier to have my pictures printed online because I don’t have to compare prices of different stores in the mall near us. They offer different discounts and deals but still I wasn’t satisfied with the amount they’ve quoted me for their printout quality. My friend introduced me a cheaper and better quality printing which I’m enjoying now. I remember how my previous company has been searching for a reliable Brochure Printing company that will print our company brochure with the quality we want in the amount we can afford.

Well I haven’t thought of online printing then but now I’ve browsed online for sites with high quality printouts and I’ve found out my1stop.com which offers convenient custom printing solutions for your personal or business needs. They have many options which you can choose to suit your specific quality requirements. You’re assured that your order for Postcard Printing, business cards, brochures,Custom Labels and other printing projects are quick and easy and as fast as 3 days turnaround time. Their services include graphic design, fast accurate quotations and customer service that will answer all queries and assists you in whatever way they can. They can give you their quotes in as fast as few seconds only and in very affordable price that you’ll surely love.

Now they also offer promotional products and specialized items such as medical tags, custom card holders and more. They promote eco-friendly printing of your favorite products now which I think is very important in our environment.

About Instant Noodles

I just want to share some tips on the most frequently cooked snack or even meal whenever we're rushing. We only disregard some warning about this in the past but this one reminder from a close friend opened my eyes to being aware of the common foods that we eat. I've known this for quite some time and have shared this verbally with all of my office friends who are very fond of cooking and eating this whenever they don't have snack or lunch available. Well we can't really avoid instant noodles but we can prevent their harmful effects if we limit our intake and if we cook it the right way.

'WRONG WAY OF COOKING NOODLES'

Normally, how we cook the instant noodles is to put the noodles into a pot with water, throw in the powder and let it cook for around 3 minutes and then it's ready to eat. This is the WRONG method of cooking the instant noodles. By doing this, when we actually boil the ingredients in the powder, normally with MSG it will change the molecular structures of the MSG causing it to be toxic.

The other thing that you may or may not realize is that, the noodles are coated with wax and it will take around 4 to 5 days for the body to excrete the wax after you have taken the noodles..

CORRECT METHOD :

The correct way to cook instant noodles without harming our bodies and health:

1. boil the noodles in a pot with water.

Blood Pressure Monitors for Your Safety

My Auntie went to her doctor again for a follow-up check up of her hypertension because she felt like her blood pressure is shooting up again. That is due to the inconsistent weather which is not doing well for her and the stress of managing her household. Anyway I heard some similar cases of women her age that doesn’t have problems in their houses but still they experience shooting up of blood pressure. I’m still in doubt of some of the causes of hypertension aside from the common causes that I know from the start. Now upon getting the results of her check up she was given a maintenance medicine to maintain a regular blood pressure. I’m asking her if there’s a need for blood pressure monitors because some of the women her age who have the same sickness have their equipment in the house to monitor their blood pressure. Luckily she told me that she wasn’t instructed to buy because that will add costs to her allocated budget.

Even if it’s not needed I still did my research on the prices and I was glad to find that it will cost us less if we buy it in stores like Southeastern Medical Supply which offers health monitoring equipment like blood pressure cuffs, pulse oximeters, nebulizer, pedometers, oxygen concentrators and many other medical equipment in affordable prices much like the factory price given in bulk orders. So if you have a need for health monitoring equipment for home or hospital use you can visit and shop at them online. Rest assured they will be giving you a safe, secured and convenient online shopping experience.
