Cleaning For A Living

If you are thinking about cleaning as a career, there are several kinds of janitorial services that you can offer. Most of the larger jobs would be for businesses. You will probably find that the work will be done in the evening after the business has closed, especially if it's for an office. Your own equipment will need to be used, but there might be cleaners that the company wants sprayed on certain furnishings, or there might be some kind of deodorizer that the company wants used so that it smells good in the business.

Larger pieces of equipment, such as a mop, broom or vacuum, can be kept in your vehicle. If you plan to travel to clean offices, then you might want to invest in a van so that you can keep your equipment with you instead of taking it from the house to the car each day.
