Relaxing Debut Celebration

With lots of preparation and plans for my daughter’s debut we finally had it. We’re all happy that everything went as planned. My debutant’s gown is simple yet elegant in blue shimmering color and Gen was like a princess as she walked down the aisle to her mini stage. My baby daughter suddenly turned to a young lady and she’s really beautiful and very chic. Not yet a woman but not a young girl anymore. We did everything to make the venue looked beautiful especially the stage which compliments her gown in silver, blue and white hues. The decors were as simple as the debutant but also class and elegant in its own style. 

We also made it sure that we had sumptous food with the help of our best caterer, my husband’s good friends Joel and Joy. The AVP were entertaining showing my daughter’s pictures from baby to toddler to young girl stage up to teenage years. The sound system went well and even though one of Gen’s friends suggested some http://www.musiciansfriend.com/accessories/tnr-products-little-booty-shakers for the drum sets we didn’t pushed through with having the instrument. For my daughter’s debut we just wanted a simple and cozy celebration. 

We’re grateful that we had the best celebration with chosen friends, relatives and classmates of my dear daughter who made her happy by their songs, messages and wishes. It was really a relaxing celebration and we didn’t feel any stress or pressure on the occasion. We just enjoyed every minute of the program and we’re thankful that Gen felt so happy with her birthday.

Learning Music and Finding Some Fun

Since Josh has started his Math training in his new school he hasn’t any time to practice his keyboard and sometimes he really misses it. When he was in his former school one of his extracurricular subject is Musical Instrument where they study playing their chosen instrument every Saturday for about 2 hours. The objective of the activities is not just having extra grades on their card but learning how to be good in playing musical instruments as well. This way they can have real fun and educational activities in real life not just online. 

Restoring the old fashion music learning is better than the usual online trends nowadays and it also prevents the kids from being too hooked up in computer games. Well my kid sometimes has some funny questions to me when he was just starting to like playing instruments. He used to ask me about the big instruments with horn like french horn mouthpiece and some other with very big ones he always see in parade. Well I just answer him that varied sizes of horn creates varied sounds in music and handling those instruments is just as hard as playing it. Well it’s just a thought.

Adding Up Music Room

My friend is having some additions to her house and this time it will include her dream music room which she will fill with her favorite audio and video appliances together with her collection of old and new musical instruments. She loves playing guitar since college days and until now on her free days she still find the time to strum some music pieces. It’s in her blood and no matter how busy her life she is she will do it even on limited time only. 

Now she’s thinking of investing on some music instruments and accessories and adding it on her future music room. She would love having special accessories on her guitar, keyboard and some other necessities like summing mixer, audio gadgets and the likes. I’m really convinced that if you’re a musician you’ll stay a musician forever.

Good Sound System and Accessories for Special Occasions

My eldest daughter just had her debut last week and we’ve done all preparations of her special day in more than a month only so we were all tired. We decided to celebrate Ruth’s debut in our own house so we redesigned and renovated the old house to make it presentable for the occasion. Since we’re expecting 150 guests we maximized all possible spaces that can seat the number of guests expected for the day. On the day before debut we managed to set up everything from decors to chairs, tables, buffet table, flowers and a lot more. Of course sound system wouldn’t be missed as my daughter’s slideshow and videos should be clearly seen and heard by the guests. 

We had a problem with a jack that connects laptop to the sound system and was saved by my best friend’s brother who perfectly matched what we’re looking for that day. We’ve gone to popular shops but we failed finding the right cable and my friend just volunteered her brother’s shop. It pays a lot when you have good sound system as the occasion relies heavily on that especially on the speeches, songs and wishes for the debutante. It’s good to have shops and sites that cater to these needs. So next we would need a specific jack, cable, accessories like p2r and other musical accessories I should browse online ahead of time to minimize stress in special occasions like my daughter’s debut.

Home Music Improvement

My brother just had some home improvement on his house although it’s already a beautiful and well-maintained house. Since he’s an Engineer and has two children taking up the same course and Architecture they never seems to stop improving their house. It’s not wasted though because every client that sees his home is quite impressed on his home design thus bringing in more clients than just expected. 

Now they’re thinking again of improving some sections in his house or adding some furnishings or items like m1 active 520 in their music room. My brother is a born musician whom he got from our mother’s father and ancestors. Our grandpa was known for his musical instruments’ expertise and competitive singing and we’re lucky that all of our children are also gifted with such talent. Anyway the addition of such studio monitors would be of great use to them and they will surely enjoy it.

Family, Summer and Music

The weather suddenly changed too fast last weekend and most people in the city regret the change as they want the colder temperature which they usually get when they visit Baguio. Well for me I welcomed the change because I got a stomach coldness last week and every time I was exposed to direct air conditioner my stomach crumbles. It was a bad week for me and I felt different this week because I can eat anything without fear of having stomach pain. 

Anyway I can feel the coming of summer with the breeze of air slowly becoming hotter, maybe not that hot this week but it will before the end of the month. Well for me summer is a happy season as it bonds the family. During summer we do a lot of family activies and short travels. It's also the times of sports fest, summer class and musical bonding with the kids. 

I can say that summer is a great time for learning new craft and other musical instruments or perfecting musical pieces. I will not be surprised if the sales on these instruments increases because lots of kids prefer to buy on this season where they can really have time to study and hone their skills. I also prefer to look for new accessories, nstruments on those dates like squier vintage modified strat at guitar center and many others. For people who plays guitar it's a great help to find everything you need.

Letting Go of Home Stuff

When we cleaned the house after the flood we ensured that we conduct an inventory of things that we need and those that we can let go in order to limit the appliances, furniture and accessories that we always have to save and store in our upper floor every time there’s an oncoming floodstorm. It’s so tasking and difficult for us to return everything into normal arrangement. 

Anyway it includes the musical accessories that my kids collect in the house. When they listed down the things that they will let go I saw that they will still keep the guitar case even though they plan on buying another one like that of gator deluxe abs electric guitar case. They really wanted a replacement case but I told them that each model has its own case and the one that they like is exclusive for that particular model only. Now they whispered to me that maybe we should start saving for the electric guitar. I almost laugh my heart out.

Completing His Collection for the New Music Room

As part of my friend’s home improvement program on his place he created a music room solely made to house his collection of musical instruments and equipment in recording music. He started a personal recording of his own music when he retired from his work abroad and now he wants a special room for all his music things. 

Now he’s having his eyes on some affordable studio headphones at musicians friend as he believes that he can collect quality branded accessories at a price that he can afford. He has more things to buy in his list and he’s carefully planning out his budget to complete his collection for the new music room.
