Skywatch Friday#2: Before the Sun Sets

This is how the sky looks just before the full sunset sets in, so  breathtaking in beautiful shades of color.  This is just the perfect background for the silhouette of the kids taking advantage of the darkening sky to dip in the sea for the last few minutes before we set off going home.  Some picked up various shapes of  shells while walking down the beach.  It's the first day of the year then and we welcomed the new year  on the beach thanking and appreciating God's wonderful creations and blessings.

:Blue Monday: Little Boy's Fun Day at the Beach

My little boy excitedly posed for me here while playing at the sands.  We've just arrived at the beach and he immediately ran to feel the sands and the waves.  He told me that on our previous visits to the beach he was so young to remember it.  And he's right about it as he was just a baby when we last brought them to the beach. It's not a planned visit though because we just decided it a day ago.  It was New Year's day and a great welcome to the new year ahead.  We had our food from new year's eve celebration and we were with our church mates.  It was not just fun for my little boy Josh but for the whole family as well.

:Photohunt: Mostly Black - Black Clouds

This is my view in the late afternoon when we had our outing in Cavite beach together with church brethren.  I saw all black greyish clouds looming atop the sea sending signals to us that rain showers are coming.  It's good that it happened an hour before we left the place and just a few raindrops.  It was the first day of the current year and we always go to the beach or somewhere to welcome the year with good vibes.  

The kids spent the whole day playing sands and swimming. They only come back to our cottage when they're hungry or thirsty. They really love the beach and so do I. Anyway the mountain looks dark also and they told me that beyond the mountain lied the province of Bataan.

:Looking at the Sky on Friday #104: Afternoon Walk at the Beach

This is my shot of my two church mates walking in the beach to look for shells.  The best time to find beautiful shells is in the afternoon when it's low tide.  The sky here is alarming us of impending rains and indeed it rained after several minutes.  Still I go my shot of the beautiful yet dark sky at the beach.  We were there for some relaxing day out with family and friends in our church.
