Thursday Challenge

"GREEN" (Plants, Cloths, Cars, Toys, Houses,...)

 This shot was taken months back during one of the programs in my son's school.  They were celebrating  health week and each grade level presented their unique poem, songs, dances and drama with the theme focused on health and nutrition.  We also had our share on our own as all parent officers prepared healthy foods to feed to all students of Little Jewels Christian School.  Notice the costumes of the kids here representing vegetables.  They danced to represent the value of eating vegetable with the song 'Makulay ang Buhay sa Sinabawang Gulay....' (life is colorful with soupy vegetables).

Happy students! They're very glad to know that they've won places in the District Press Conference.  My daughter Gen won 4th place in Article Writing, Her friends/classmates Carlo won 1st places in sports writing, editorial and article writing, Gian in sports writing too, Fatima 1st place in photojournalism, Charles 2nd in Filipino edition and some others.  I don't have the copy with me but they've bagged more prizes than other schools and we're proud Moms there :D

Btw I'm the official photographer there lol!

TC - Small Animals - Ducks

"SMALL ANIMALS" (Pets, Insects, Birds,...)

Lazily sitting on the grassWalking and looking for something :-)

Got these four ducks for my entry this week. I've noticed these 4 ducks outside the kitchen of our quarters in our summer camp fellowship. They always go in four, they sit together, they walk together and never missing one duck when they go. They seem to be friends as they never leave each other. The four ducks stayed together the whole day and it made me take a shot on them.

:Thursday Challenge - Artificial

Artificial Flowers

This is my Mom's artificial flowers given to her by granddaughter Baby who lived with us for about 3 years. She lives in Laguna and formerly working in the city that's why we offered our house to her so she'll stay on weekdays with us and go home on weekends.

Anyway my Mom loves flowers and she has some beautiful blooms in her garden but inside our house she has this artificial ones for one corner of our house which she thinks is kinda gloomy. She put this flowers so that corner will have some sunny atmosphere. The effect is great!

Thursday Challenge : Sweet 'Chocolates'

This is my first entry for this Thursdy Challenge Meme, well I've picked all-time favorite chocolates. Only few can resist the sweet bitter taste of chocolates, as for my family be it local or imported we really love these sweeties. This photo was taken in our office when the daughter of our boss brought us 'pasalubong' from her one-year stay in New York. She loves bringing us sweets when she's here in the office and this time it's Hersheys and Kisses.
