Walk With Faith In Your Heart

Walking doesn't always mean walking with your feet as you can walk without legs but with great faith in your heart. A friend shared this site to me, it's the testimony of a person who was born without arms and legs but who conquered all challenges in his life especially the challenge of being physically disabled for life.

Nick Vujicic gives his inspirational testimonies on how God has made a very lucky man despite his being disabled. The joy of having Jesus in his life made him COMPLETE. We are a lot luckier than Nick but do we for just a moment thanked God for all the blessings that He has given us? I was moved by his stories and testimonies. As a born-again Christian I also witnessed God's loving hands on us during the trouble times of our life when Mom lost her eyesight. Now my Mom is a living testimony of God's miracle. All praises to Him.

I'd like to share this one and be inspired.

Mother's Unconditional Love

Motherhood is a tough 24-hr job: No pay, no day-off, most often unappreciated and yet resignation is impossible!

glitter-graphics.com

I got this message on my mobile and it’s one of the many messages I received this day, all greeting me a happy mother’s day! Being a mother is really like that it’s a tough job you have the responsibility of enriching your child’s wisdom, of bringing up your children as good Christians, of taking care of them through their life and loving them without expecting in return. My own Mom did all that to us and we’re very thankful to God for giving us not the riches of this world but a good mother who loves us unconditionally. Happy Mother's Day to my dear mom and all of the great moms out there!

Courtship Exaggerations

There are more ways than one in making us say yes when we're courted by persistent suitors. Ways of men can be conservative, persuasive, sometimes cool and others were exaggerated. Having worked in a male dominated company in my first years of working exposed me to a lot of my friends' way of making their courtship successful.

I actually find it funny sometimes as most of the guys in my work are my real friends and I know some of them are not serious. Though I must admit there are others who are sincere with their feelings.

One statement that I found really funny are the words 'You make me forget how to breathe'. These are the words that my friend wanted to say to one girl in our group and the guy really feel it. He told me that he can't breathe whenever the girl is around lol! Lucky that the girl didn't say yes or else he'll forget to breathe when they're together hahaha!

We've Made It Through!

Really time runs so fast and I can’t believe that we’re already married for 13 years, lucky number for me because we’re still happy together and still in love with each other. He’s still loving and sweet as ever!

What’s happiness to me? Happiness doesn’t mean you don’t argue sometimes, it doesn’t mean that you’re both perfect in all ways. Happiness is seeing your partner’s weaknesses and still loves him. That’s what makes life worth living for, the realization that even if your husband is not the best or not Mr. perfect you still want to be with him and care for him up to when your hairs are all gray and white.

What makes marriage lasts? There are three factors – love, respect, trust – we often heard it on seminars but we never really paid attention on this. Through the years that we lived as married couples and as parents to our three kids I realized the importance of respect and trust as lack of these two can overpower love and can lead to a broken marriage. Above all these God is the major factor of successful relationship. Make Him the center of your marriage and you’ll end up as a happy couple.

Summer Relaxation At Pansol

We’ve arrived early yesterday at Villa Rubi Rosa Resort just after the sun shines on the mountain of Calamba. It was a promising day for us to get relaxed in the lukewarm water of the resort. We always hire private pool resort for a more secured swimming and we don’t strangers swimming with us.

We had fun, not only but also the elders who also had their own set of games in the pool. Actually they acted like the little kids out there in the water.I promised myself to take a break from the kitchen after lunch so I cooked all the foods needed in the morning. My kids enjoyed the pool and they only approached me whenever they feel their stomach wanting some food. I was at their beck and call and they’re very happy about it. Josh learned how to dive that’s why he told me it’s his best swimming outing ever! Funny kid!

Anyway, here are some snapshots for viewing:

2nd Blogsversary

I’ve celebrated my second year anniversary with blogging last April 28. It started out one afternoon two years ago when my bestfriend JennyL coaxed me into opening a journal of my own. I was in their internet cafĂ© then and it seems so nice venturing into a seemingly exciting online hobby. Had I known that it would lead me into a new perspective in life I would have started it earlier. Somehow having a site of my own help my dream of writing materialized.

Having a blog leads the way for me to share my thoughts, my dreams and my life with Jesus. I started in my very first blog my Race Corner which paved the way for a life outside my office. It’s a respite for me, a breathing space between my household responsibilities and office work, a place where I can share everything I want to. After 2 months I opened another site which I dedicate for my spiritual thoughts and everything that proves that life is indeed A Beautiful Life.

I didn’t stop there as I wanted my own domain and that leads me to opening my first domain ever discussing my life’s journey and sharing all Moments of My Life. This is the blog that became my main site and that blog has helped me augment my family’s financial status. I know God has helped through all this giving me wisdom on writing. When I decided to resign from my 16-year job to have more quality time with my family I opened My Crossroads with the inspiration of dealing with the major decisions that I made with my life.

With all these blogs that I’ve shared with my friends I’m happy to be a part of my visitor’s life. Hope I’ve imparted some inspirations on their lives and be a channel of blessing.

Balancing Work and Faith

I'm always looking forward to Sunday Fellowship and Wednesday Bible Study because that's the time that I can recharge my faith battery. As a working mom and a born-again christian I'm exposed to many temptations of not living up to Christian right attitude and principles, my job requires me to deal with a lot of people locally and internationally. I do collection and payables and it necessitate me to enforce rules and discipline to settlement.

There are also things that your employer wanted you to do or wanted you to work on Sunday that will test your patience and a lot of perseverance in explaining and making them see your point of view. I had difficulty in my early years of working when my work deadlines gets in the way of my church service, good thing my boss has a kind heart to see my reasons for not working on Sundays. You just have to pray to God to touch your boss’ heart and see clearly your reasons and point of view. Line up God as your priority and everything good will follow. Make Him the center of your life and He’ll watch and care for you everywhere you go.

Common Sickness Of Today’s Women

Yesterday JennyL and I visited the wake of my high school teacher Ms. Elida Rosas and found out that she suffered from cancer of the pancreas which was diagnosed six months ago. We met our batch mates there and discussed about the common sickness encountered by our other friends. We noticed that cancer diagnosed patients have little time to spare after being found out with that sickness. Is it environment or the food that we eat that’s causing this sickness to us? My godmother who passed away few years ago died of cancer also and she was one of the first cases that died few months later after being diagnosed.

My friend just a few blocks away from us died of cervical cancer and she also had little time to prepare her children for her last days.
It’s a painful and expensive sickness, one that medication can’t be afford by many but if you have noticed a great percentage of it is lurking on women. I just pray to God that whatever is plaguing this society will not surpass the power of God’s healing hands. Let’s all reach the hands of God for His protection and care. Never let go of HIM.

Learning Photography

As I’m on vacation from my work and working only once a week I had the time now to study my digital camera and all its features. My Mom was smiling always at me whenever I show her my photos, nice that she can see my shots now unlike the past weeks. I’m reading and viewing photos online and began to learn about different angles of shooting, how to adjust my point and shoot camera for better capture. What I like most are my macro shots especially on my flower pictures which I used for Today’s Flowers meme. My bes JennyL is a good photographer and sometimes I ask her about taking photos. I love visiting her Scraps & Shots blog because you’ll see her beautiful projects there.

Thanksgiving to God

My siblings and I were very happy about our Mom’s condition and promised ourselves to give a thanksgiving to God for all His unwavering assistance and help to us. Redge and I both testified to our church how God’s loving hands continued to take care of our mother. It’s hard to see your loved one having difficulty in moving because she can’t see a thing so it’s a celebration for us to see her happy with her operated eye.

In our church we told our brethren to bring the necessary things to cook something for salu-salo for our thanksgiving but we learned that one brother also wanted to prepare food for his birthday so it became a big celebration as we cooked 5 kilos spaghetti and gallons of ice cream. Everyone was happy about the condition of my Mom and sent their regards through us. They packed some of our food for her.

Doctor’s Statement

It’s my mom’s checkup schedule with our doctor and we want to surprise him with our good news so we didn’t inform him about the new changes in my Mom’s left eye. Upon reaching the eye center we talked to Cecile his assistant and told her that mother can see with both her eyes now. She was surprised and told us that she might just imagining it. She told us that some elders tend to talk about seeing with two eyes but the real fact is they’re just imagining things.

Dr. Aragon Belza was smiling happily when we told him about this. We told him that we include our mother in our church prayers and God has answered our prayers. He asked my Mom what she did to make her left eye see again. My Mom told him that she prayed hard to God to make her see again. He examined the both eyes with much amazement in his eyes and when he has finished with both eyes he declared that truly my Mom’s eye was healed.

He made a statement that brought us joy in his heart. He said that ‘As per my record and detailed observation last month your left eye can’t see a single ray of light, I will not take any credit on your eye, I didn’t do anything, I didn’t put any medicine and whatever happened to you Ma’am it’s all because of HIM!

See even our doctor with his expertise in medicine on eyes recognized the miracle that God has given us. All praises be given unto God.
