My Partner in Night Blogging!

Still wide awake to finish some tasks and anyway I just had more than an hour sleep early this evening when my son asked me to sleep beside him. He asked me to sleep early and I did but I woke up again to do some works online. Anyway hubby just got home an hour before and I still have companion now aside from my favorite coffee beside me. I really love coffee though I minimized my intake from 3 cups a day to one cup only except of course when I work late in the evening and I feel tea will not see me through my sleepy status. If only I have time I would want some brewed coffee. I’m sure I will enjoy my blogging in the night more if I have a coffee maker but on second thought I will be needing a buddy to have coffee with, my hubby is not a coffee drinker so my sister will be the one!

Better Understanding of God’s Word

I’m always looking forward to Sunday and Wednesday because that’s our days for fellowship and midweek bible study. Every week we consumed all our efforts to face daily challenges of life and with it we experience failures, problems and disappointments in life. Attending fellowship and bible study lesson makes us feel blessed, protected and secured in God’s love and in faith that no matter what our God will never leave us nor forsake us. He has redeemed us and after Jesus resurrection He made us all free from the bondage of sins and gave us a new life. Jesus paid it all on the cross.

In these days we can see that people are busy with many things in life rather than their spiritual life which is the most important of all. People tend to prioritize material things instead of the more vital things in this world which is putting God in the center of our lives and reliving Jesus life in these present days. God has given us the Holy Bible to read and explore the things that can also be the answer to all our questions in life. It is God’s words written by the chosen people of God, His disciples. The book contains bible prophecies and great stories which can be a great help for many as reading it can help you find a way on how to live our everyday lives with stories of God’s chosen people and how they live with great faith in our creator.

When Jesus died on the cross and resurrected after three days He has given us a new covenant which has God’s plans for salvation and His promises to us. For those who want to know more of God’s beautiful plans for us and understand the Holy Bible more you can visit this free bible study site at www.ucg.org and learn how to use the holy book in teaching God to our children. The whole family can learn many things such as covenants, tabernacles and how Israel observe their three annual festival seasons. It can also help on how to make our lives better and how we can have a personal relationship with God.

Jen's Birthday!

It's my bestfriend's birthday today and I will not write here how old she is or she might kill me lol! If you want to know her age you can visit her site. JennyL or Bes as we fondly called each other celebrated her birthday today very simply, they had a sumptous lunch yesterday for the whole family and today she had pasta and cake. As she always say birthdays are meant for the young ones and as you grow older celebrations are getting simpler except for the remarkable oldies' birthdays of course such as 50 and 75 years.

I brought along Josh with me and greeted my Bes. After eating we spent the rest of the time talking about our blogs, our friends and how grand we celebrate our birthdays when we're young. We missed those days of early planning and preparing for our birthdays, excited with our visitors and just so happily carefree with the occasion. When you grow old you're always mindful of the time and it always seems that you have to schedule everything.

Anyway after all these years I thank God that Jen and I are still there for each other maybe a lot older than we were in high school days but still the same people who cared for each other. Looks may change, years may add, status may differ but still friendship never change. We're still bestfriends......for life.

Continuing Education Through Online Studies

I heard from my friends in college that some of them took post graduate studies in the leading university in town. Some of them enrolled in management courses and others in some enhancement subjects related to our college course. I also wanted to study further but on a relatively different field of study which is culinary. I’ve always wanted to learn culinary skills in cooking and baking because I love to cook for my family and someday I want to put up my own bakeshop.

Of course all these would have to wait as my schedule is full this time of the year and I have to choose a school near my residence. I really need to sacrifice some of my time if I want to pursue it unlike taking LSAT prep courses which can be done online. It will not require specific time and students need not go anywhere as they can study whenever they want and anytime they’ll be free. That’s a very convenient education.

Photobucket

Click the image to see larger view

Looks like a shot in the province? No this is actually taken atop the terminal lot of a provincial bus in the business district in Libis, Quezon City (Philippines). It's actually across my former office. I just find it so refreshingy cool to look at and a perfect background for the beautiful skies above, though not so blue at that time. Well anyway the beauty of the skies are beautiful in its own different ways!

Happy sky watching!Visit more of beautiful sky photos here!

Rainshowers Again!

After a whole week of very fair weather rain showers are here again filling the whole afternoon with rains. Josh asked me to go out and buy something, though I wanted to please him just like any ordinary day I told him softly that I can’t because of the rains. It’s hard to walk even for some meters only with a child in tow on a rainy afternoon. I just told Josh to watch the rains and as soon as it stopped we’ll go to his favorite store. As we can’t go out that time I immediately opened my new blog and updated it quite a bit. Maybe I’ll spend another week for my new blog before I’ll open it to other viewers.

My Remedy for Tiredness

I’ve been working the whole day through and happy that I’ve accomplished many tasks today both online tasks and my regular household tasks. It’s not that easy to balance managing your blogs and your household that’s why I’m very happy that without any house helper I can do both, of course with lots of support from hubby and my Mom who’s always there for me. Now I’m getting the full grasp of being a work-at-home Mom and I was able to do some adjustments on my time schedule. Like now it’s getting really late and I’m still here in front of my PC doing some visits to my online friends’ sites and advancing some posts for tomorrow.

Sometimes my family asks me where I get my high energy level. I told them that whenever I felt tiredness seeping through my bones I closed my eyes and imagine myself on a beach having some relaxing florida vacation. Of course that’s one of my wishes but a nice vacation in one of the beautiful places here in my country would suffice for me if and when we find time for that as I want my family to be with me.

:WW - Dogs' Playground

See the dogs here playing in their playground, looks cute but it's actually a stone playground of dog statues. This is part of Josh educational tour in BioResearch in minizoo. Josh find them nice and petite! I particularly like the slides and swing, so cutie! He even tried to get near and touch if the dogs are really stones. What do you think?

See my other entry => Fountains!

Happy WW visit more entries -> here.

Fixing Our Car

Finally we’ve settled the mechanic schedule for our car and he’ll start fixing our car today. We’ve waited for his busy schedule because we like him to handle the repair of the car than the other mechanic we used to hire. One of my friends who know a lot about car maintenance told us that our car will be fine after changing oil and all electrical wirings were checked.

Many cars in our area suffered damages just like us and I wonder if they have mechanical breakdown insurance to cover the expenses incurred by major car repair. Maintaining a car is really like having another child because you have to take care of it, maintain it and spend money on it whenever it malfunction just like our kids when they have sickness. I’m looking forward to using our car again every Sunday and fellowship ministry.

What Do People Love About You?

People Love That You Are Open and Confident

You're the type of person that's easy to get close to. You're very comfortable in your own skin.
You have no problem showing people who you are, and you're genuinely interested in them in return.

You are an accepting and involved friend. You are truly curious about what is going on in other people's lives.

You may be the first in your group of friends to express concern when someone is having a hard time or making bad decisions. It's only because you care so much.

This one has gotten so close with what my co-workers has told me. I really think this personality quiz is closer to reality. Want to try what do people love about you? Try this quiz!
