Looking at the Sky on Friday - Sierra Madre

Photobucket

We've visited my Mom's hometown in Famy, Laguna to pay our last visit to her brother. The weather in Laguna is always on the rainy side in the afternoon. I guess I just had some luck on this shot as the sky is somehow clear here over the top of Sierra Madre mountain. I took a shot on this scenery as this photo relaxes me and a warm remembrance of my uncle's view from his house. Yes I took the shot from his house, beautiful isn't it?

Imagine waking up in the morning seeing this scene of rice fields, mountain and beautiful clouds and sky. Actually we've lived here for several years before we transferred to my father's hometown in Rizal. After moving to where we are now we just visit our close relatives occassionally or when we want to have some vacation. We left when I was 7 years old and I still miss this scene from our beautiful town.

Lovely shot and dramatic sky!

I was just this morning looking at my old pics from Korea and the rice fields.

I know this meme is about the sky, but I can't get over how green everything is. In California during this time of the year everything is brown from no water.

Have a terrific day and weekend. :)

Relaxing, indeed! Very nicely captured. What a lucky fella to get to see a view like this on a daily basis.

Happy Friday,

Those rice fields won't always be this nice and green but they sure are pretty now. I like your rolling cloud formation, it is large.
